IonicBreakdown Tab
This tab is only visible if ion mapping for TCE is used
This tab page displays the following for ALL species in the project, sorted alphabetically and by phase:
- Each possible ionic breakdown
- The extent of that breakdown. This is used only for determining if a species is considered as an acid, base or amphoteric
- Users may specify the expected percent breakdown as a means to define if a species is expected to behave as an acid, base, or amphoteric in their project
- The specification of this breakdown has no effect on functionality. It only affects if SysCAD identifies a species as an acid, base, or amphoteric, which can affect acid/base coexistence warnings from TCE-enabled unit operations.
