Steam and Water Properties
MassBasis Tickbox Users can choose to display the data in either mass or mole basis.
Temperature / T Input The steam and water properties will be determined at the specified temperature. This field is common to the Thermo1, Thermo2, Vapours, Liquids and Solids tab pages.
Pressure / P Input The steam and water properties will be determined at the specified pressure. This field is common to the Thermo1, Thermo2, Vapours, Liquids and Solids tab pages.
IF97.SatP@T Calc Saturation pressure of water at the user specified temperature.
IF97.SatT@P Calc Saturation temperature of water at the user specified pressure.
IF97.SuperHeat@P Calc Degrees of superheat (degrees above saturation temperature) of water at the user specified pressure.
Water

State Calc SysCAD checks the steam tables and displays if with the user specified temperature and pressure, would all the H2O be liquid (water). If yes, it will display OK, if not it will display Invalid.
Viscosity Calc (Dynamic) Viscosity of liquid water at the user specified temperature and pressure.
ThermalCond Calc Thermal Conductivity of liquid water at the user specified temperature and pressure.
The following fields are shown in a table format. Two columns are shown, one showing the values obtained using the High Fidelity (IF97) method, the other showing the values obtained using the Fast IF97 Sat method. Refer to Water and Steam Properties for more information.
Density / Rho Calc Density of liquid water at the user specified temperature and pressure.
msH Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has been enabled. Enthalpy of liquid water per unit mass at the user specified temperature and pressure.
mlH Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has NOT been enabled. Enthalpy of liquid water per mole at the user specified temperature and pressure.
msCp Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has been enabled. Heat Capacity of liquid water per unit mass at the user specified temperature and pressure.
mlCp Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has NOT been enabled. Heat Capacity of liquid water per mole at the user specified temperature and pressure.
msS Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has been enabled. Entropy of liquid water per unit mass at the user specified temperature and pressure.
mlS Calc Only visible if Mass Basis has NOT been enabled. Entropy of liquid water per mole at the user specified temperature and pressure.
Steam
