Section 6 Overview
Please use these videos together with Section 6 of the Basic SysCAD Tutorial, which is distributed with the SysCAD full install.
We will continue to use the project that we have constructed and modified in the previous sections of the Tutorial.
In this section we will look at how to use Trend Windows in a SysCAD project and then add 3 controllers to the project:
- We will control the steam feed to the Autoclave to give the desired exit temperature from the Autoclave;
- We will tune the Autoclave acid feed controller (please see the Tutorial document for a description on adding this controller to the project); and
- We will control the water feed to the Autoclave to a set ratio with the solid feed to the Autoclave.
The first 2 control requirements will be achieved by using PID controllers, and for the 3rd one we will use a Set Tag Controller.
