Discontinued Models

When a model is discontinued, user usually gets some time to change the model over to an alternate, improved model.

  • During this grace period, discontinued models should still load and project will run as is. However, user are not able to add anymore of these models into the project.
  • Existing units using these models are listed with a message to change the model. We strongly recommend user to make the change sooner rather than later, as the new unit models will be improved and have more functionality.
  • Please see the table above for the suggested alternate/replacement model.

Discontinued models will be removed from distribution after a while, when it is removed from distribution, they will no longer work in the project.

Discontinued Models Removed from Distribution

Models that have been removed from distribution will no longer work. Projects containing these old legacy models will not load.

For example, the screen model has been removed completely in Build139, so projects with the old screen model will not load.

  • To fix this issue, please change the model to Screen 2 using Build138 or earlier before upgrading to Build139.
  • See Build139 Project Upgrade

Discontinued dll (no longer required)

Discontinued dlls are no longer required. If you are getting warning messages using project load, please check:

  1. an old version of the dll is not in the Bin folder
  2. update the configuration file so it is not trying to load an old dll. See Upgrading Project with Discontinued dlls.
