Demo Mode

The software may be freely installed and distributed on as many workstations, laptops or stand-alone PCs in your organisation as may be required. Each of these is unlicensed and will operate in "Demo" (Demonstration) mode. The Demo license is useful for preliminary software evaluation for both Steady State and Dynamic Simulation modes. However, we do recommend that you contact Kenwalt to provide a temporary license for formal evaluation. Under the Demo mode, the program options are restricted as follows (this is subject to change without notice):

Number of Copies allowed: N/A
Number of multi-users at the same site: N/A
Time Restriction: None
Limit on number of ProBal Units allowed: 25
Limit on number of Dynamic Units allowed: 10

Notes:

  1. The new Full installation of SysCAD will default to this mode.
  2. The limits on number of units apply to unit models and control models but excludes links (streams).
  3. Either a USB License Key or a software license key needs to be entered to activate a copy of SysCAD so that the functionality is enabled in accordance with the terms of a specific license purchase agreement.
  4. If you are using a network license you need to set the network license location correctly. If all the network licenses are in use, then SysCAD will revert to demo mode.
  5. When the SysCAD license expires, SysCAD will revert to demo mode.
