Toolbars

Toolbars manage and organise various commands in SysCAD in a logical way so that you can find and use them quickly from the user interface.

Toolbar groups can be easily customised - for example, you can add and remove buttons, hide or display toolbars, or move and dock them at different locations of the screen. Some SysCAD commands will open a small Floating toolbar when called. This can easily be switched off (closed) by clicking the close icon at the top right of the floating toolbar.

Group	Option	Description
Buttons	SysCAD	The Default SysCAD toolbar contains commands related to the project, such as open, save, solve and so on. Default Toolbar Prior to loading of SysCAD project Default Toolbar After a SysCAD project is opened (Build 139 or later)
	Graphics	The Graphics Toolbar contains commands related to the graphics window, it is used to build / modify flowsheets. Default Toolbar usable when the current active window is a graphics window. (Reroute Link is available in Build 139 or later)
	Trend	The Trend Toolbar contains commands related to the trend window, it is used to pan / zoom the trend window. Default Toolbar usable when the current active window is a trend window.
	Construct	The Construct Toolbar contains commands related to the graphics window, it is used to attach SysCAD models to existing dummy graphics file (created by external CAD package). Default Toolbar usable when the current active window is a graphics window.
	Dynamics	The Dynamics Toolbar contains commands related to the graphics window, it is used to add annotation table or dynamic animation to the graphics page. Default Toolbar usable when the current active window is a graphics window.
	Other	The Other Toolbar contains various commands that maybe useful, such as print, save / load scenario and so on. Default Toolbar.
Options	Show ToolTips	If this option is selected, then a Tool Tip will appear when the mouse cursor is hoovered over a toolbar button. Giving a brief description of the command. Example of Tooltip for Insert Unit toolbar button.
	Show FlyBys on Status Bar	If this option is selected, then a description will appear on the status bar (at the bottom left corner of the Application Window) when the mouse cursor is hoovered over a toolbar button. Giving a description of the command. Example of FlyBy for Insert Unit toolbar button.

Customising Toolbars

Buttons on each toolbar can be customised using the or by right clicking on a toolbar body. The dialog shown below is used to customise a toolbar.

Group	Option	Description
	Available Buttons	This list contains Separator - can be used to add a space between buttons Available Command buttons not in the current Toolbar NOTE: The available commands are divided into two groups: Graphics related buttons can only be added to Toolbars: Graphics, Construct and Dynamics Non-Graphics related buttons can only be added to Toolbars: SysCAD, Trend and Other.
	or	Click on a command on the available List, press Add -> Button to add toolar buttons to the current toolbar. Click on a command on the Current List, press the <- Remove Button to remove a toolar buttons from the current toolbar.
	Current Toolbar Buttons	Shows command buttons for the current Toolbar
	or	These buttons can be used to change the display order of the tool bar buttons.
		This button resets the toolbar to the default setting.
