The following Release Notes represent the state of Build 139 at the time of first release. Please refer to the Build 139 Revision History for subsequent updates.

Unit Model and Functionality - Discontinued

• Area Model and GlobalArea have been removed.
• Some unused Command Scripts options such as CompareScenario have been removed.

Models to be removed in next version

• Crusher1 and Mill-1 - User will be given this note in the Access Window: === NOTE: This model will be discontinued - change to Crusher2 ===.
  • These are legacy models with limited functionality and will be removed in the next version. Please change to the Crusher2 unit, it contains more functionalities than the old models.
  • User should be able to reconfigure the model (using Crusher2) to provide equivalent behaviour.
• Falling Film Evaporator - User will be given this note in the Access Window: === NOTE: This model will be discontinued - change to Falling Film Evaporator(4) ===.
  • This legacy model has limited functionality and will be removed in the next version. Please change to Falling Film Evaporator 4
• EHX - Loss to Ambient Method - User will be given this note in the Access Window: ***** Method will be discontinued. Use 'Loss to Ambient4' instead! *****
  • This method contains conversion factor error for conductivity and will be removed in the next version.
  • EHX - Loss to Ambient 4 has been added with corrected conductivity values, please change any EHX sub models using "Loss to Ambient" method to this new method.

Models to be removed in future versions

• Direct Contact Heater - User will be given this note in the Access Window: NOTE:Consider using Direct Contact Heater(2) instead.
  • This model will be discontinued in future builds, please change to Direct Contact Heater 2 model.
• Heat Exchanger and Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger - User will be given this note in the Access Window: NOTE:Consider using Shell & Tube(2) instead.
  • These models will be discontinued in future builds, please change to Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger 2 model.
• Flash Tank - User will be given this note in the Access Window: NOTE:Consider using Flash Tank(2) instead.
  • This model will be discontinued in future builds, please change to Flash Tank 2 model.
• Falling Film Evaporator 2 - User will be given this note in the Access Window: NOTE:Consider using Falling Film Evaporator(4) instead.
  • These models will be discontinued in future builds, please change to Falling Film Evaporator 4
