Section 8 Overview
Please use these videos together with Section 8 of the Basic SysCAD Tutorial, which is distributed with the SysCAD full install.
We will continue to use the project that we have constructed and modified in the previous sections.
You will add a General Controller unit to the project and use this to control the extent of the Cobalt reaction, according to the following equation:
Cobalt Reaction Extent = 90 + 0.012 * Autoclave Temperature (in Kelvin)
- If possible, please ensure that Notepad++ is set up as the Text Editor in the General Options window.
- Please see Notepad++ if you require help to install or set this up as the default editor.
- You only have to set this up once on your computer and thereafter it will always default to Notepad++.
- The online Help Documentation is very useful when writing Control logic in the General Controller. Please refer to PGMs for syntax and general questions.
