Menu Commands

Navigation: User Guide -> Menu Commands
There are a number of menus with a list of commands that may be selected. Some of these are only visible based on the currently selected window. Many of the common menu commands or items have a short-cut key and/or a toolbar button.
The main SysCAD menus:

Short-cut keys and toolbars:
Background Short Cut Options
When right clicking on the SysCAD background, (the grey areas outside of windows) the following menu options are available.
- New: Brings up the New dialog box.
- Save Layout (See Save | Save Project Layout): Saves the project layout by updating the project file SCD_Lay.ini in SysCAD 9.1 or Options.WindowArrangement.ini in SysCAD 9.2.
- Project Save All (See Save Project): Saves the project by saving all project files.
- Configure Project: Brings up the Project Settings (configure) dialog box.
- Find Tag: Brings up the Find Tag dialog Box.
- General Options: Brings up the General Options Dialog box.
- SysCAD Reports: Brings up the Reports Dialog box.
- Cascade Windows: Cascades all opened SysCAD windows.
- Arrange Icons: Arranges the minimised windows.
- Start: Starts SysCAD Dynamic Simulation.
- Solve Go: Starts ProBal Solve.
- Exit SysCAD: Exits SysCAD.
